Friday, May 9, 2008. George Town, Exumas to Little Harbour, Abacos. Our last posting was early March (yikes! And we were still in George Town, hanging out with hundreds of other cruisers. After 5 months of heading generally south, it was time to start thinking about leaving the Exumas and to begin the trek north to the States! Monday, February 11, 2008. Warderick Wells to Compass Cay. The last installment covered most of our stay in Warderick Wells Cay and the Exuma Land and Sea Park. As you will soon learn, we left the Park on January 23 and things took an unexpected turn. Since then we have only advanced about 10 miles further and have been relaxing at Compass Cay Marina since then. What happened to slow our relentless voyage south along the Exumas to the fabled George Town on Great Exuma Island? Too Many Navigation Aids?
