Tuesday, November 02, 2010. I will be attending the CTN animation eXpo. In Burbank this year. It's hosted by Tina Price and the Creative Talent Network. And as far as I've been told last year was pretty amazing! It's my first trip to the USA and I'm already quite excited. I will stay in California for about two and a half weeks. Monday, November 16, 2009. Close to the Wind! It's hard to deny, autumn is here. Or to be more precisely the windy, unpleasant and undeniably wet part of autumn. And the fact that it's already dark at tea-time doesn't make it any better. Well, at least you can't see the bad weather . This picture is a little bit older. (I did it in 2007 when a storm called Kyrill. Rolled over Germany and left quite some devastation behind! By the way, the landscape looks exactly like in Ostfriesland. Where I come from!

This illustration is inspired by "All Creatures Great and Small" (which is known in Germany under the title "Der Doktor und das liebe Vieh"). It tells the story of the veterinarian James Herriot. I still like the BBC series based on the books. It may be a little bit old-fashioned but it features a great cast and a lot of interesting side characters. Does anyone remember Tricky Woo?
