Alliance of Jewish Outreach Professionals. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Are Better Jewish Educators the Answer? Here’s an interesting article from JTA (May 24) – the three movements’ schools will receive huge grants to improve and increase their programs for Jewish educators. That’s all very fine and welcome, but who goes into a job that has no openings and low pay? Some individuals in int...

Alliance of Jewish Outreach Professionals. Monday, January 11, 2010. I am sending you a link to an article by Al Levitt, president of the Jim Joseph Foundation and the new chairman of Birthright Israel NEXT. There is plenty of time and millions of people to rain on their parade once they get back home. I love the trip. My concern was, what about when they come home? Is that the end? So Birthright NEXT is biting off a big project. I am highly invested in their success. What would help? I have two good ide...
