Thursday, January 24, 2013. The kids have been waiting since we moved here for some of the white stuff to fall; when they woke up this morning, they realized their wishes had finally been granted. All bundled up and ready for his first time of really going out in it! When little toes were nice and chilled, it was time to come back in for hot chocolate and cinnamon/sugar toast. Oh, yeah. Thursday, July 5, 2012. What a fun 4th! We had a fun, if tiring, July 4th holiday. We woke up early (for us in summer, that is) so that we could get to the church for the traditional Awesome Waffle Breakfast- lots of waffles with lots of toppings. It was lovely weather for the flag raising, and my kids had fun with their friends snarfing down whipped cream with a side of waffles. Definitely a great way to start the day!
