Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Adopt a Kid. Friday, July 24, 2009. Blair, Jo, Natalie, and Two-Teeth. Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. The truth is, nothing new has happened on the adoption side of things. We are still waiting to hear when our finalization date is going to be. Maybe everything is being held up in the plumbing of bureaucracy. Just because we are waiting around for our court date doesn't mean we aren't busy. Gus is getting bigger every day and starting to become mobile.

Even after he was changed and clean, he continued to cry inconsolably. We decided to just start the interview despite the wails. So, after years and years - it's all done! We're are now officially, completely, legally R's parents! We also got to see R's birthmother and sister while we are there. SOOO great seeing them. We'll be playing, and then I'll realize that the entire front of her shirt isn't just wet, but absolutely soaking.
