It's been a journey, it's not over, and like Dr. Kaufman said, "You didn't buy this ticket". No, I sure didn't. No one does. It's just called life and you have to take what comes and keep your head up in the corner and your stick on the ice! Celebrate your life today,. May 15, 2010 at 6:19 PM. Bump In My Boob. Follow my journey through the pink door. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Thursday, June 25, 2009. 7 down, 28 more to go. Every Wed I meet with the Dr. after my treatment, and every Friday I meet with the RN. So far everything is on track and I'm doing OK. Dr Kaufman gave me stretching exercises to start doing on June 16th and I have full range of motion with my right arm now. It's not pain free, but I certainly won't be going for any physio. I'm finally finished the antibiotics, 21 days of 2000 mg per day is more than enough to kill anything in your body. I was tolerating it quite nicely up until a few days before I called it finished. Monday, August 10, 2009. This past weekend I completed 60 Magnificent Miles as I participated in the Breast Cancer 3-Day. I have lots of stories to share and pictures as well but right now I want to talk about today, the day after. Hopefully today we are 60 miles closer to a cure! Because every two minutes another woman or man is diagnosed with breast cancer. Because my mom is a 12 year cancer survivor. Because my sweet friend Arthanise is a 2 time cancer survivor. BECAUSE EVERYONE DESERVES A LIFETIME!
