Poor Jared got a sled for Christmas and didn't even us it. It looks like this winter might be different. (Let's hope that I didn't just curse things by typing that out loud! I shudder to think how quickly the next ten years will go, and we'll find ourselves with a 20 year old, a 19 year old(most likely out on his mission), and a 15 year old. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Update better late than never? Mom's surgery was Wednesday. Planned was a nice simple little same-day procedure. But.(isn't there always a but? The hospital called my mom Tuesday evening asking her to come in a little earlier for a repeat EKG as her pre-op one looked different from a previous EKG from August. So Wednesday she had another one.that one was cause for even more stress to the surgical team than the Tuesday one! So finally, about an hour late, they took her off to rad...
