Same old, same old. Monday, November 12, 2007. On Saturday night, our little town celebrated Veteran's Day with a Retiring the Flag ceremony. I went over and got Big Papa out of the shop, he dusted the sawdust off and went in to get his "WWII Veteran" hat. Mom and Dad Primm. I didn't know about retiring the flag, that's pretty cool. Give your local vet a hug from me! November 12, 2007 at 10:43 AM. That is so cool! I can't say that I've ever been to a flag retiring ceremony! It always gets me choked up!
