Life of a Peach. Saturday, November 14, 2009. South Plains Fair 2009. We always have such a fun time every year at the fair. The kids enjoyed going on the rides and seeing the animals. Oh, and I can't forget the awesome greasy food! It was nice to get to be with Brennan at the kiddie rides. This was his first year being big enough to ride some things. His favorite rides were the motorcycles and airplanes. Well, I have to tell you why we were late! I made a cheesecake this year and won 1st place AGAIN!

Life of a Peach. Thursday, March 4, 2010. Brennan loves Spongebob right now. I asked him what kind of cake he wanted he said a Spongebob cake. It actually turned out pretty cute. He was happy with it. He kept telling me that it was the best Spongebob cake he had ever seen! He also got a Hot Wheels race track and cars from his grandparents and the Cars Color Changer Car Wash. He had a great birthday! I can't believe he's 3 already! What a cutie. He looks just like Carter. May 12, 2010 at 9:12 PM.

Life of a Peach. Friday, August 7, 2009. This is Lulu the newest additon to our family. A passenger who was flying out of Lubbock didn't want to pay the pet fee and gave the dog to one of Charles' employee's who gave it to Charles. The kids are in love. I didnt realize that that is how you got Lulu. How cool is that! By the way, did the Bishop tell you that Summer was bawling outside of his office the day we left Lubbock because she missed Carter and didnt want to leave? It was great seeing you guys!

Life of a Peach. Sunday, March 29, 2009. Family trip to Dallas. We went to Dallas/Fort Worth in March. We spent a day at Six Flags, went to a rodeo and the Dallas Aquarium. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Carter played basketball for the first time this season. He enjoyed learning the rules of the game and getting to know the other boys. His team was called the Longhorns which means we had to actually root for Longhorns. Not an easy thing for us to do. The team went 5-3.

Life of a Peach. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Carter participated in his first Pinewood Derby. He won two races before being knocked out by the eventual winner. He named his car The Safety Vest because of the colors he chose to paint the car. He won the Neon Feon award for the most colorful car. Monday, January 19, 2009. Regardless of whether you are a democrat or republican the fact that our nation overwhelmingly elected our first African-American is something that we can all celebrate.

Life of a Peach. Thursday, March 4, 2010. Carter's scout troop had their Pinewood Derby last weekend. Carter took 2nd Place! We are so proud of him! Brennan loves Spongebob right now. Life of a Peach. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Adam and Larry played RIGHT in front of us! The Black Eyed Peas opened for U2. This is how close we were to the stage walkway! We were in line for hours to get that close. It was October 18, 2009 in Norman OK. On October 18, 1993, 17 years earlier, we went on a date to our first U2 concert in Kansas City. This was our 6th U2 show that we have been to together. We saw show #5 in Dallas just a week before the Norman concert. We can't wait for more!
