Thursday, September 8, 2016. Today was our last day in Germany. We started the morning in Dresden, we slept in since we got back late from Prague. There was a cafe right outside of our hotel and we went there for breakfast everyday because there milchkaffe (coffee with milk) was so good! Sunday, September 4, 2016. Today was our last full day in Berlin and while we were definitely sad about it we also feel ready to explore more of Germany. It was supposed to rain all day but we only had occasional showers. The weather was a lot cooler (only 70 today) so it felt like the beginning of fall. Saturday, September 3, 2016. Today we took the train an hour to a town called Potsdam and it was incredible! Ashley is ready to move there! It's a small town and where the king and queen had their summer palace. The town was full of shops, restaurants, palaces, and beautiful parks! Dan started out the day at McDonalds, of course. Thursday, September 1, 2016. It was so great to sleep in a bed last night and not on a plane! We started the day at Checkpoint Charlie which was the Allied border check between East and West Berlin. They had pieces of the Berlin Wall still in place and it was amazing to see how tall the wall really was. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Our second day in Switzerland was great! We didn't have any cameras because of the rain so we are sad we don't have pictures of it. After our walk, we took the train to Interlaken and walked around and got lunch there.
