We spent a lot of time checking out the sights and (of course) eating. Studiously coloring at Ivars. The girls at Magnuson Park. Best buddies hiking down to Meadowdale Beach Park. Amazing how much less complaining there is when Sarah has some buddies to hike with. The hike followed an old railroad track paralleling the Stillaguamish River. We had some fun scrambling. And the kids made us nervous by carefreely walking by exposed spots that dropped steeply into the fast flowing river. Kiddos by the waterfall. We just want to go down there".
