The lab called and said that a result from a sample they took a month ago showed another kind of infection. SERIOUSLY? I seriously have no idea why or how things happen anymore, I am just living each day as it comes with no expectations. The good news is he is doing awesome! Just keep us in your prayers and hopefully he can have his surgery soon and come home!

Preemie babies have to be taught to do all this especially bottle feeding. Full term babies have the "suck, swallow, breathe complex" but babies born before 34-35 weeks usually have to learn to suck and most importantly learn to breathe between sucks/swallows so they do not choke. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. I was thinking about how I've only flown 4 times since Carlee was born. That's 4 times in three and a half years. The first time was to Vegas last summer (does that even count as a flight? After killing some time around the airport, we finally saw OUR plane! Carlee was so excited. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I've been trying to take my fitness to the next level. Back in January I signed up to do a 5k in May. I figured that'd give me enough time to "train" for it. I've never been good at running. I hate doing any kind of cardio but I figured running will be beneficial to my weight loss and help me push through my plateau. I thought. Monday, February 20, 2012. Who is this kid? Carlee has always been a big ball of sass. She's always saying things that crack me up and I wonder where she got that from. Lately she's been saying/ copying things from some Disney shows too. And not cartoons but the preteen shows that I think are contributing to her little attitude. Not that she needs any help. A couple of funny remarks from her recently:. Do I have school Wednesday? Yes "Ok we can buy a TV after school on Wednesday! This kid needs a job!
