The Burrows Underground: Pumpkin Love
http://burrowsgirls.blogspot.com/2011/10/pumpkin-love.html
Saturday, October 1, 2011. Like every other blogger out there, I love pumpkin. Here are a few of my favorite pumpkin treats. 1 cup vanilla soy milk (this definitely tastes better with soy milk vs. cow's milk). 1/4 cup canned pumpkin (you know me, I don't measure). 1/2 cup plain yogurt. Tiny splash of real maple syrup. Ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg to taste (I even used some fresh ginger this week as I was fighting off a cold). Baked Spice Pumpkin Donut Holes:. October 17, 2011 at 12:43 PM. Hi, I'm Michell...
The Burrows Underground: Baked Stuffed Pumpkin
http://burrowsgirls.blogspot.com/2009/10/baked-stuffed-pumpkin.html
Monday, October 12, 2009. This is another fall recipe. 1 4-pound pumpkin, 6 inches in diameter (I use a small pie pumpkin). 1 T butter, softened (I forgot it this time, and it was fine without it). 3 cups bread crumbs, fresh bread cubes, or croutons (if you use croutons, you'll skip the spices). Spices: 1 1/2 t. salt, 1/4 t. pepper, 1/4 t. nutmeg, 1/2 t. ground sage. 1 cup grated Swiss cheese (I used Gruyere this time). 2/3 cup chopped onion. 2 cup heavy cream. Remove guts of pumpkin and stringy insides.
The Burrows Underground: December 2010

Friday, December 24, 2010. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Emilia discovered the box of ribbon. Sunday was our church caroling party. I had volunteered to bring cookies, so I baked some sugar cookies and Ella, Ava, and Addison decorated them (with some help from Alex). The cookies were loaded with frosting! Dena always dresses up in a festive outfit for caroling. The weather was perfect- chilly enough to feel seasonal, but not too cold. Emilia got passed around quite a bit. More Christmas Program Pics.
The Burrows Underground: June 2010
http://burrowsgirls.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 30, 2010. We ♥ grilled pizza. In the past, we've either used my usual pizza dough recip. A premade crust, or the canned stuff you get in the refrigerator section. All of these work just fine, but when I saw a recipe in Cook's Country. 2 (145 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, drained well (I used Kroger, which was okay but I think name-brand would have been better). 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil. 2 garlic cloves, minced. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (I used shredded). 2 Prepare dough. Whisk w...
The Burrows Underground: August 2010
http://burrowsgirls.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 19, 2010. First Day of School. Here is Ella on the first day of second grade. She's grown so much since kindergarten. Saturday, August 14, 2010. Water Park New Mexico vs. Great Wolf Lodge. As you may recall, we spent at night at the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City. Convention at the hotel, so there we were in our swimming suits surrounded by people blowing these bizarre ram horn instrument thingies. You don't get that at the GWL. Wednesday, August 4, 2010. I'll post more details and pict...

Osborn Abode: February 2010
http://michelleosborn.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The story of life and love in the Osborn family. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Weekend recap and menu. Why do weekends always go so fast? We had probably the best weekend since we moved. I was still really sick on Friday, but by Saturday, we all felt much better. We went to LA with some friends to the California Science Center. The kids had a lot of fun. We found a great place to eat lunch back in Pasadena, then went home and vegged the rest of the day. And, here's the menu for this week-. If you visit our ...

The story of life and love in the Osborn family. Thursday, January 21, 2010. Rain rain go away. Aside from a quick trip to the store for milk, the girls and I have been in our apartment since Sunday after church. Can you say Cabin fever? Ok-so there are 2 things I like about here. I can't think of any others right now. Except for what we have planned for Avery and McKenna's birthdays coming up-. For supper Saturday night, complete with birthday cake! Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Part of me just wants her...

The story of life and love in the Osborn family. Thursday, December 31, 2009. This is the best fruit salad. My grandma Staggs used to make this and I loved it as a kid. Now, my girls love it when their grandma Keating makes it. 8 bananas, mashed. 1 lg can or frozen OJ, thawed. 1 lg can crushed pineapple (drained). 1 jar maraschino cherries, halved and drained well on paper towels. I spent some time going over my resolutions for 2009. I think I kept up with most all of them, except the tv. Figure out a wo...
Osborn Abode: Lifegroup top 10
http://michelleosborn.blogspot.com/2010/10/lifegroup-top-10.html
The story of life and love in the Osborn family. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. In our experience, lifegroup. Or small group) is a group of people, usually from church, that meets once a week to do 3 things-1) study the bible 2) serve at church and 3) serve in the community. I would add a 4 th. Saying that social activities always find their way into the mix. I've never been a part of a lifegroup. That didn't have parties together or meet for dinner occasionally. Kevin and I have been in several lifegroups.
Osborn Abode: Pumpkin night!
http://michelleosborn.blogspot.com/2010/10/pumpkin-night.html
The story of life and love in the Osborn family. Friday, October 29, 2010. I love the way they smell, I love the way they grow from just a tiny nothing into something huge. I love the seeds. Everything. Tuesday night, we carved pumpkins. Well, most of us. Poor Caleb was confined to the swing for the evening. We read the Pumpkin Patch parable (which we do every pumpkin carving night-love, love, love that book! We cut open the pumpkins and got the seeds out. We cut out eyes, noses, and scary mouths.

The Ploger Family Scoop: Picking Corn and Sandhill Plums
http://famtabulousplogers.blogspot.com/2015/06/picking-corn.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. Picking Corn and Sandhill Plums. After we got back from vacation Grandpa said we'd better hurry up and pick some sweet corn before it was too late so we got up one morning to do it. We got a lot! You don't even realize how much until you start shucking it! We ended up eating quite a bit but we also froze a lot which is great in the winter! Picking plums is a lot different that corn. You constantly have to watch for snakes (yuck! Oh well, can't wait for the jelly! Yoga Flow for Dige...

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. My Goofballs in May. Here are some snaps of the kids in May. Love them! Playing at the park. Ready to go for a walk. Note to self - don't let Jemma get her own chocolate chips. Also, never waste chocolate if it falls on the floor! Jemma at the driving range. Jemma with her "chef hat". The end of scouts for the year at the last pack meeting. The sun was coming through the window at the wrong time so I didn't get any good pictures of Jaxon getting his awards. Links to this post.
