Great things to do, and see, near our cabin located next door to Fairystone State Park in Patrick County, Virginia, on the Crooked Road. Monday, April 20, 2009. What a great time of the year in the Fairystone area. Spring is doing its best to spring. The Redbuds are practically jumping out of the landscape and grabbing attention. It's pretty difficult to miss those purple flowers when they're surrounded by all the other trees and plants that are green and a little bit of gray. Labels: Blue Ridge Parkway.
