Because internet was what it was (super slow and unreliable) while I was in Burundi, I was unable to upload many pictures. Now I have faster internet and uploading pictures will be easier. Here in Burundi, they make a paste that has the consistency of a cross between mashed potatoes and a gummy bear. It doesn't have much of a flavor, but it's interesting. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Have been home almost 24 hours. Am thankful my flight through Chicago was yesterday before the storm. Am tired but trying to stay upright. Some random thoughts.
