School Children’s Activities. Pre-school Children’s Activities. Mature & Active. The Sports Hall is available for hire for sporting and non-sporting activities. It is an excellent venue for discos and skating. Hire includes use of the sound system. A brand new Thorlux lighting system was installed in September 2014 which meets levels recommended by Badminton England. The entire Sports Hall can be hired for 32.00 per 55 minutes with half the hall available for 16.00. Us or call 01638 742125.

Being more intimate than the Sports Hall, is it perfect for exercise classes. It has a smooth wooden floor and an iPod controlled sound system. It is available to hire by instructors wishing to hold their own classes in the Sports Centre. The Gallery is also available to hold training sessions, meetings and other non-sporting activities. The annual Community Games held on Saturday 12th July, once again saw residents of Burwell and the surrounding villages celebrate sport and cultural activities available in their local community. Regular centre activities including Badminton. Were available throuhgout the morning, in addition to hand and face painting. Burwell Judo Club and Burwell Aikido Club. Thank you also to All4Sports. Our Mature and Active programme for the over 55s runs on Monday and Wednesday mornings between 10.00 and 12.00am. The programme is proving to be really popular, with people travelling from other villages to join in the fun.
