Blue Bus was inspired by my daughter’s wish to see her bus buddies that she had met at other bus festivals through the year. We put a bus festival together in 2007 to celebrate the 10th (actually 9th) anniversary of the last Buses on the Blue Ridge, and that’s where our story begins. Our first bus festival together was Buses on the Blue Ridge in 1996 (Emma was three) and we returned every year until it was no more. Other bus festivals were spawned from this event as well as The Full Moon Bus Club.
