Saturday, September 22, 2012. Last Wednesday Norm took Jim Daniels and me to the Heber Airport to go up in a glider. Me in the glider. That's Tom, the pilot, who will sit behind me. There are controls both front and back. This is the takeoff. You can see the little single engine tow plane ahead of us. Tom, gave the controls to me and talked me through flying the glider for about five minutes. He said I did great and that I was a natural. He says that to everyone. Like the new header :).

Sunday, October 21, 2012. Fall break at Grandpa and Grandma's. Zach and Katie came to spend a week for their fall break. They were here with us Monday through Thrusday. We spent as much time with the cousins as possible. School was out on Monday so we went to the zoo. We wore our Team Jan shirts to show our support of Jan and to make it easier to keep track of everyone. Everyone loved climbing on the sculptures. Here are Eve, Maren, Julianne, Zach, Holden, Katie, Mackenzie and Henry with the gorilla.

Bob contacted the land-ladies of our missionary apartment to see if it was available and it was. Monday, September 10, 2012. Well, it has been a long time since we blogged but here are a couple of pix of our little place. We have finally finished the remodeling on the kitchen area and the living room. Above is the before photo of the area we wanted to use for a kitchen. We had to take up the carpeting and put in new flooring, an island, cabinets and cupboards, fridge, stove and microwave. Above is how the kitchen turned out. We know it is small but it is very functional. Wow, looks great!

Tuesday, April 3, 2012. A star is born. We got to go see Kenzie perform in her school musical (The Music Man). She was fantastic as Amaryillis. We were so proud of her. She put in many many hours of rehearsal time even at night and on Saturday mornings for the past 3 months. She is so dang cute! I wish I could have seen her perform.I bet she was wonderful :).
