http://edibleperversions.blogspot.com/2009/05/oatmal-cookies.html
Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may be gone. I almost regret a post without photos. I guess I'll just have to bake 'em again. 1/2 c butter (1 stick). 2/3 c light brown sugar. 3/4 c AP Flour. 1/4 tsp table salt. 3/4 c quick oats. 3/4 c 7 grain cereal. About a cup of dried fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, or a combination (I used cranberries, almonds, chocolate chips, and topped them with pecans). Lisa is a Culinary Genius. Edible Perversions: Mock Seaweed Salad
http://edibleperversions.blogspot.com/2010/06/mock-seaweed-salad.html
Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may be gone. I don't live at the sea, so it's harder to find its wonderful bounty of weed to put in a salad. Instead, I mixed up the following. It tastes good - eat it. Thinly sliced spring onions. 3 parts Rice vinegar. 3 parts Toasted sesame oil. 1 part Soy sauce. 1/2 part Sriracha (rooster) sauce. A smidgen of Chinese 5 spice. The correct amount of Toasted sesame seeds. Nuke the sauce for 30 seconds so the honey is easy to mix. Dump over prepped veggies.
