Finding meaning and purpose in the everyday. I never know what to think about school pictures. This year’s are uneven. Here they are:. Utah Trip and Sun Valley Summer Symphony. These two didn’t miss a beat — back to their same silly ways. The big kids had a blast too. The McF’s introduced us to a new iPad app called Video Star which provided hours of entertainment. Here is a sample of the work:. Sarah was excited to see all of her CAS friends, so we headed out to Garden Club. An outdoor market there.

Finding meaning and purpose in the everyday. Baltimore Museum of Industry. They have a working conveyor belt thing from an old cannery and a giant pressure canner. They have a blacksmiths shop and a machine shop. When they turned the machines on, we got to don protective eyewear. They also had some working models built by journeyman machinists to pass their apprenticeships–awesome copies of big machines that actually work, built by hand down to tiny screws and bolts. Thursday, July 2, 2009. Last day of school for the year. I am soooo excited that my year of school is over. We had to deep clean and move all furniture today. It feels good to give my classroom a good scrubbing. I neglect my classroom sometimes. :) A classroom needs some love and attention too. I had a GREAT class this year! I will miss my kids. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Well, I've had an interesting month. I went out to Ohio to visit/babysit my sister Debbie's two kids. All I have to say is that I am glad I don't live by them! I was a little shocked in how Bratty my niece and nephew were. I tried to make the best of it. I was schedule to stay 2 1/2 weeks but couldn't take any more. I came home 3 days early! I was glad to get home. What is next you ask? I only have 2 more weeks of school and I then have a 2 week break until my next school year.
