OUR story. OUR family.}. Since her arrival, we have enjoyed watching our little girl grow. On Sunday, July 14th, we got to watch her grow with the Lord. We invited our family and friends to come be a part of Keaton's baptism. Here are a few pictures of her special day. It was a very special day for us and we were thankful everyone came to share it. :). So to "kill some time", we took pictures. Here we are waiting. The last time we're a family of two. Everyone was waiting. ME too! So, we camped out. A...

Sunday, September 7, 2014. I can't believe you've already been in our world for 4 months. Time, please slow down. This mama can't keep up. Sweet Girl, you continue to make our days brighter and our smiles wider. We can't get enough of you. This month you have turned into quite the chatterbox weighing in at a whopping 11 pounds. You are learning so much every day! You gurgle and coo all of the time. Your Nettie says you sound like a raccoon.Your constant smile still melts me. Of them. But I know your ...

rainy day woman: 1 Year Old
http://the-rainy-day-woman.blogspot.com/2015/05/1-year-old.html
Thursday, May 7, 2015. May 7, 2015. My dearest Effie,. When you learned to nurse, I learned to cherish the quiet moments spent alone with you. Snuggling you in and smelling the top of your head became my favorite. Those moments in the middle of the night reminded me that you needed me. Don’t ever stop needing me. Don’t ever let anyone quiet your sound. When you learned to “sweet baby,” I learned that you have a gentle heart, and I learned what it felt like for mine to squeeze inside my chest&...When you ...

OUR story. OUR family.}. A couple weekends ago, my mom came and painted a dresser for little man. It turned out great and Keaton has already started storing her things in his space. (:. Nothing a coat of paint and new knobs can't fix. Today, Jeremy finally moved it back into the house. Little man has it in his room, but we are waiting on a LOT of other things. In time. Til then, I am enjoying my girl! Yesterday we ran errands. We had to make a stop by my moms and got a little Joanie love. A couple years ...

rainy day woman: March 2015
http://the-rainy-day-woman.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 7, 2015. You're 10 months old today. It's been quite the month. Who am I kidding- it's been a day! Tonight after you enjoyed puréed broccoli and carrots topped with a cheese stick and yogurt bites. I still think you are awesome though. You are all over the place now- crawling at max speeds, pulling up on everything, and nearly giving this mama a heart attack on a daily basis. I love how you are repeating sounds we say, including a very often "uh-oh.". You are the best part of me. I am a m...

rainy day woman: December 2013
http://the-rainy-day-woman.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 30, 2013. Wow, another year is about to pass. Tomorrow we will make our annual pilgrimage to whatever city those boys from Athens. Are playing in to ring in this new year. The other day I was told by The Husband that this would be our last year traveling to celebrate New Years with 3 sets of boogie-woogie music. Needless-to-say, I was disappointed in his attitude. We will revisit this debate in 365 days. Thanks for all your good times! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I Like It Old. Photograp...

{OUR story. OUR family.}: Oh BOY!
http://ourstoryourfamily.blogspot.com/2014/08/oh-boy.html
OUR story. OUR family.}. On August 7th, we went for our gender ultrasound. We were so anxious to find out what baby #2 was going to be. Jeremy had high hopes for a boy and I could take it either way! So, when we sat down for that ultrasound, this is what we saw. At 15 weeks, we found out our little peanut was a BOY! We were beyond excited. How do we keep getting so lucky? Life couldn't be any better! Keaton can't wait to get a brother with his own pair of lumberjack boots! 15 weeks and 15 week aunt!
