I own a sewing machine and can use it a little bit. Confession time.I can never figure out how to raise the bobbin, so thankfully I have a handy and hunky hubby, and he does it for me. Thursday, February 21, 2008. It was like we were in a hotel! Can't wait for this weekend. Once I find my cord for my camera I will put some pictures up. This is the house that we will be in for at least the next 20-30 years! Which is totally exciting for me because I want my girls to be able to come home to the house they grew up in. Monday, October 22, 2007. A Little Bit about ME. Okay, so I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but I thought what the heck. I've tried myspace and facebook, so I might as well try this. So, here I go. My girls are wonderful. It is so awesome to be a mom. It is starting to get really fun because we are done with the baby phase. Our moms and Sarah and Karen are back in school and football games are gradually replacing baseball coverage on tv. It is still strange to think that John and I have a 4 month old beautiful baby. Also have Courtney's wedding coming up. The bachelorette party is going to kill me! It starts at 11AM at the wineries! It should be lots of fun though. I haven't partied with my girls for ages. Monday, April 28, 2008. Gma Jo to the rescue! Thank goodness for Grandma Jo. As soon as she heard that Gav and I would be on our own for awhile, she booked her flight to Florida to come stay with us. She came two days after John had to leave and the timing was perfect. We were sad- missing daddy and not knowing what to do with ourselves! She lifted our spirits and we had a lot of fun. Wednesday, June 04, 2008. We're back in Florida after a long vacay in the midwest. Gav and I spent a couple weeks back home visiting everyone. Sadly, while we were there, Grandma Ann Paruch passed away after living more than 90 years. We miss her and it will be difficult to adjust to family get-togethers without her being with us. But, there is no one better to be around when you are sick than your mama. What a handsome little man! Tell me he didn't really travel in that suitcase.HA!

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Christmas all over again. Today we received a package in the mail from Grandma Karen and Grandpa Larry. It was FILLED (and I mean filled) with new clothes for Gav! Seven new pairs of pajamas, a few new outfits, new washcloths and a big boy bath towel! Oh and a super cute new bib. It was like Christmas again a month later. Thanks mom and dad!
