San Luis Obispo Coast. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. We took out a couple of culverts that were left over from previous incarnations of Highway 1 and the old ranches. Here are some highlights. Besides the frogs and gobies, we found quiite a bit of wildlife in the area. All of the work was done in September 2010. Baby southwestern pond turtle. Giant water bug with eggs. The destruction of the concrete box culvert. Using a torch to cut all the steel in the roof of the structure. And there was a lot!
