If you ever sit down and think about it carefully, you realize that our whole society (in the U.S) runs on not just energy, but specifically on non-renewable energy, like oil. Any motorized vehicles run off of oil, so when we run out of oil, then what? Of course the reasonable action is to switch to renewable resources, but all of our vehicles rely heavily on oil, so what could replace it! It's common sense, people!
