To create the re-brand for the existing Manchester Craft and Design Centre, and to apply this branding to a range of printed media to show both how the brand works as business stationery but also to show how the branding can work to help promote the centre. Unfortunately I didn't have this brief finished in time to photograph it in the photo studio, so I had to create my own mini photo studio with a photo tent and lighting. The photos have turned out quite well considering but I could have done with a better hand model to hold the pages open! These are some of the best photos that will be appearing on the boards. I have done this CV three times, because it will need to be used at three different paper sizes, and I need to be careful when moving the information, so that everything still looks good and the type is readable. I am still waiting for my final business cards to arrive, and I think I should also purchase some paper in my colour purple, as I might find this useful. Printed on to bulky newsprint. I was feeling a bit stuck with what colour my graphic design guide book, as I'd originally chosen to do it CMYK to appeal to designers, but as I did this I realised it looked awful, and was too cliche anyway. So it was suggested to me to look on the Pantone website for some inspiration. Lots of different colour combinations, any of which could potentially work.
