CabinQuilter's: January Desktop Calendar
http://cabinquilter.blogspot.com/2015/01/january-desktop-calendar.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. So 2014 is over, and I, for one, am looking forward to 2015.not necessarily anxiously, but more like guardedly optimistic about the year ahead. Lately, I'm kinda into hexagon and other one-patch quilts, so I'm thinking that this year's calendars should all be some sort of charm-type quilt. We'll see. I might get bored in a few months and change my mind. But my New Year's Resolution is to stick with my commitments - at least for January! I'll be back in a few - in the meantime, ...

CabinQuilter's: July Desktop Calendar
http://cabinquilter.blogspot.com/2014/07/july-desktop-calendar.html
Tuesday, July 1, 2014. This month, as we celebrate the 238th birthday of our nation, we should all reflect on this statement made by one of our Founding Fathers:. How little do my countrymen know what precious blessings they are in possession of, and which no other people on earth enjoy! Remember how our nation came to be and at what cost and know that it can all be gone in a generation if we don't pass on its truths to our children and grandchildren. May God Bless America. CabinQuilter's: May Desktop Calendar
http://cabinquilter.blogspot.com/2015/05/may-desktop-calendar.html
Friday, May 1, 2015. I almost didn't make it this month. Thought I had one more day before I had to really knuckle down and get on the May calendar, but today I noticed that April only has 30 days (by actually looking. At the calendar on my desktop)! This year's decision to only make quilt calendars with one-patch designs is turning out to be a lot harder than I thought. I don't think I thought this through on New Year's Eve. Be sure to tell them where you found it! Love this one the mostest! The Art of ...

Laquo; A Look at My 2013 Quilt Cruise Workshops. Magic Camera Monday: September 4, 2012. Magic Camera Monday: August 6, 2012. Recently I received a package from my dear friend Margo, in Tennessee. Over the past few weeks, Margo has been helping her mother-in-law clear out some of her old jewelry. As she was helping go through it, she thought I might enjoy having some of the pieces, so she decided to box them up and send them my way. Well today’s our lucky day, so let’s get started . . . Sorry, I’m ...

CabinQuilter's: Sewing Machines In Movies
http://cabinquilter.blogspot.com/2009/04/sewing-machines-in-movies.html
Sunday, November 30, 2008. Sewing Machines In Movies. For no particular reason whatsoever, I've been maintaining a list of movies and television shows where sewing machines can be spotted. Some are shown long enough to be identified, some are just brief glimpses. Feel free to e-mail me with any you come across, and let me know if you can positively identify the make and model. If not, send it along anyway with your best guess. 1999): Singer coffin top treadle. Angels in the Outfield. Fiddler on the Roof.

CabinQuilter's: Love That Green!
http://cabinquilter.blogspot.com/2009/02/love-that-green.html
Tuesday, March 17, 2009. In honor of St. Patrick's Day. My absolute favorite color is jadite green with a titch of aqua. I've got tons of this thread and will probably never actually use it. Whenever I spot this color thread, I add it to my collection. It's such a gentle, peaceful color, and it just makes me happy to look at it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's All About Me.
