Adventures in Los Cabos. Sunday, November 16, 2008. We have been trying to find time to head 45 minutes north to the sleepy little town of Santiago, nestled at the base of the Sierra Gigantes along an active arroyo. Water is abundant in this region, with waterfalls and swimming holes tucked into the rocky knolls of the foothills. The next enclose which backed up to our new monkey friend beheld a fun surprise for all of us, it was a young female lion cub named Nala (remember Lion King? And so on, and so on.
