Thursday, November 19, 2009. I like the idea of Thankful Thursday posting, seems to me more of us should list down the things we're thankful for. So.here goes:. I'm thankful that my Hubby understands my need for yarn and the time I need to spend creating things. I'm thankful for my kids, even though they're at that "testing" age. Sunday, March 7, 2010. Ella sleeping on the couch in the sun. {January 2010}. Well, it seems like the days have just been flying by. Both my little-ones are fully immersed in their respective spring sports (ie: softball and baseball), which means I'm spending at least three days a week on separate fields, and varying times, too, of course. And because it's still cool at night here, I'm able to wear my hats! I'm still trying to finish my x0 cardi. Links to this post. Topic: planned projects (PP).

Thursday, February 3, 2011. Can you guess what I've been doing lately? Three pairs of soccer gauntlets all in navy and white (the white does have silver sparkles). Can you guess where I've been hanging out? One was for my LittleOne and then her two team-mates. {This pattern did come from polarknit.com- their web site is a little wonky today.). Just some hats I knitted recently.the green one and the pink one are the same pattern. And super quick easy to make. This one's from the book Knitted Gifts.

Tuesday, March 04, 2008. I finished an Amanda Hat. To match the Scrunchable Scarf. I cast on March 1 for a KAL on Ravelry and finished on March 2. It's a sweet hat and I plan to give it to my sister in law along with the scarf for Christmas. Jared wasn't too thrilled with being my latest hat model but he obliged. Wednesday, May 30, 2007. Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly. This morning while the boys were doing their schoolwork, I saw this butterfly flying around the azalea bushes outside the schoolroom window. Monday, March 10, 2008. Pattern: The Boy Hat Pattern. Yarn: Malabrigo Merino Worsted in Azul Profundo. Needles: size 7 U.S. Modifications: None - knit exactly as written. It's really just a simple 4x4 ribbed hat but with some interesting decreasing on the top. I think it's the perfect man/boy type hat. Made it in my price range. Winter this year has not been a real Maine Winter. We had no -30F weeks at all this year. Very little snow too. Lots of rain and ice. I am liking this sweater pattern! I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.reading the graft hasn't been all that bad. But I still prefer the written pattern any day.
