Our home is located near the town of Turrialba, Cartago Province, about halfway between the capital city of San Jose and the Carribean coast. Turrialba is about 55 miles or an hour and a half drive from the International Airport in San Jose. There are lots of car rentals available at the San Jose airport and also one agency in Turrialba (Enterprise Rent-a-Car). Secure parking for 4 cars at the house.

Rates(U.S. Dollars): $60/night(3 night minimum), $300/week, $800/month. Or rent the house and apartment togethe for $75/night, $350/week, $1000/month. Price includes weekly maid service(extra cleaning can be arranged for $13/day). A bus stop is 100m down the street with about six trips a day to Turrialba for around 80 cents. A taxi ride to Turrialba costs about $8.00.

Café Visthuset

En lummig mötesplats vid Göta Kanal. Sedan Slaktare Johannes tid, 1910 och framåt har det varit en mötesplats där man handlade, samtalade och kanske skrävlade. Säkerligen fick man också höra det senaste om folket runt om i bygderna. Vid den tiden fanns det också en smedja och ett bageri på platsen så man kan tänka sig att det rörde sig mycket folk här då.
