Increase LAN capacity by x400. 2015 capacity on 1995 infrastructure. Aroona transforms an enterprise multi-mode optical fiber below 10 km into 4 parallel channels, with a data rate of 10 Gbps on each channel. As an example, two buildings linked by more than 300 m of OM2 fibers are conventionally limited to a capacity of 100 Mbps (10 to 20 workstations). Installing Aroona at the ends of OM2 fibers enables 4 channels at 10 Gbps (4000 to 9000 workstations). 8211; equivalent to 4 single-mode channels.
