Friday, August 28, 2009. Seaira got a new bed built for recently. My cousins husband designed and built it and it is awesome! He put heart and soul into it. He went around telling people about Seaira and Rett Syndrome and got several donations along with making a very generous one himself. Thursday, April 8, 2010. It's been way too long! I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything in so long! Seaira's back surgery really through me for a loop. It was harder then I ever dreamed it would be. She is still recovering from it, doing much better but each day carries it's own struggles. Seizures are still an issue and she was recently hospitalized for about a week because of it. "One day at a time sweet Jesus" is pretty much all I can say! I will try and do a better job at keeping up on this!

Thursday, July 30, 2009. Updates-Sorry it's been so long-. Seaira swinging at Fort Nugent Park in Oak Harbor, she really enjoyed this! So many things to talk about! Most important.Seaira is doing very well right now. She is averaging about one seizure a day, they aren't real big ones. We have adjusted meds to try and fix this but it's just not helping. Her health has been good, her mood has been good, I can't ask for much more then that! I don't think she ever looked up! I think that is about it for now!

Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Seaira had a lot of fun trying out the Tobii! It cost an arm and a leg,but who knows, maybe someday we'll get it! Seaira had a very good Easter! We went to my in-laws for lunch and then came back home and hunted for eggs, had snacks and played games my sister and her gang! Lisa came over for about an hour or so and hung out with us! We had a wonderful summer and got to visit some sweet friends in Kingwood. This is Andrew's buddy Lincoln that we haven't seen in several years. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. I don't recall exactly how Erin and I became friends on this Rett journey but I'm so glad we did. Avery and I are fortunate enough to see Erin and Riley (and the rest of the Bleske bunch) every spring when they come and vacation at the beach. Today was one of those lucky days. The Christmas miracle that happened Tuesday night in the Atlanta airport was definitely one of those times.
