Sunday, January 31, 2010. Back in the Saddle. I am back in the saddle today. It took me awhile, but I am on the ball. I have cleaned the house (mostly) I have made a meal plan for the next 2 weeks, and let me tell you we will be eating good this week. I am also baking a ton, cause that's what I do. Monday, August 24, 2009. I usually just rant and rave about my frustrations on here, but today I thought I would talk about how proud I am of my kids. They are both growing and learning and they make me happy. Not that everyday is perfect, but all in all I have pretty great kids. I would love to post a cute picture of my sweet girls here, but our computer died and I am still trying to figure out how to get all the pictures off the computer. Wednesday, December 9, 2009. I watched Julie and Julia last night and I loved it. I love the fact that they showed 2 happy marriages, and no one was cheating, and no one was getting divorced. Hollywood just doesn't show things like that anymore, and it makes me sad. They weren't perfect, but they were in love so they tried and they fought, but they made up. Posted by Melissa Darby. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. AUGH, the Life of a Mom! Posted by Melissa Darby. I used to get so angry about the same thing. Here I am, had a hectic day, try and do what is good for my family and cook a meal that we can all enjoy together and someone complains. I totally get it. Most every night Kaiden goes to bed hungry because he wont even try it. Not one single bite. I have learned that it just goes with the territory and I remember being the same way when I was a kid. Breakfast is at 7:30am.

Wednesday, October 14, 2009. I am also all about cakes right now. I am looking into taking some new classes and I am going to start making a ton of cakes to take pictures of to put on my new website. That's right, I am going to have an actual website. My friend Corey is creating it for me, so stay tuned for new developments. And if you need a cake, please let me know! Are you freaking kidding me, it is the middle of October? AHHH, that feels better, thanks for reading all my random thoughts.

Sunday, February 21, 2010. I realize that I am way behind since this party was about a month ago, but here it is anyway. Since everyone has been sick for so long it took me forever to download the pics. Also while doing this I realized that I do not have a lot of pictures of the actual party so you will have to take my word for the fact that it was adorable and huge success. For food the girls had sandwiches that were cut into hearts, fruit "wands" and a scone (since it was supposed to be a tea party).

Thursday, January 7, 2010. Better, and Reagan got worse. So on Wednesday we went back, and Reagan had the same thing! Reagan has always been so healthy, I was surprised. Now Reagan has been on antibiotics for 24 hours and she is starting to come out of it. Hopefully soon, everyone will sleep through the night again so I can get some sleep. Posted by Melissa Darby. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. While I enjoy living in Phoenix, there are a few things I could do without. I can live with the heat, I don't want to go walk 10 miles or anything, but I have learned to deal with it. What I don't like however, is that everything shuts down. All the activites that the kids do stops during the summer, when it is impossible to go play outside. No fun! Whatever will I do? I am sure I will have no problems filing the time.
