Sunday, June 22, 2008. I always had my doubts that the plants in our garden would grow. Insert seed, cover with dirt and voila, you've got food! It seemed like some sort of magic that had to be smoke and mirrors. I wanted to put all of my faith into it and believe, believe that it would work, and deep down I did but I still had my doubts. Thursday, April 01, 2010. I love this weather! A lot of the pansies I planted last spring came back this year. Also blooming in my yard are crocuses! Hyacinths with be next, with daffodils not far behind, and some tulips as well. Spring has definitely sprung, and the forsythia are blooming everywhere on my street! The garlic is getting taller. Saturday, January 30, 2010. A week of cake and presents. Yo, birthdays are fun! I've been told that this wasn't my first birthday, but I really can't remember ever having such big fun as I did last week. Even washing up to get all of the frosting off of my face was fun! I wonder if it was as fun for ND Emily? Man she's cute, even covered in frosting! But back to the good stuff.presents! Even though I had to wait to open them while Daddy figured out how to Skype with Babu and Papa. At the same time!

Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Got me involved in the Simsbury Farmers' Market. Which started last week. There was a cow named Nellie there and she COW-NAPPED me! There were also a bunch of chickens and a bunny running around, so once I got free from Nellie, I was at liberty to chase them. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Summer is shaping up to be pretty cool! Mommy and Daddy took me to a carnival on Saturday, and I rode my first roller coaster. The Dragon Train! It went up and down and AROUND really fast. I got to ride on some cars, too - all by myself. Well, my friend Alex was with me, too. And I won a jaguar! Today Mommy and I went to Holcomb Farm. Sunday, August 23, 2009. It's finally starting to feel like summer around here, and the rain has let up for several days in a row. Thus, I've been getting some pool time. Blueberries are ripe, and Katie, Mommy and I went to pick some. I may have squished more than I put in the basket, but Mommy had enough left to make a yummy blueberry buckle! ND Emily and I have been hanging out at the Simsburys Farmers Market. Pretty much every Thursday afternoon. We eat J. Foster ice cream. And these blue potatoes.
