The Higgs Family: October 2013
http://higgscentral.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 26, 2013. What in the China? I am currently working on a food blog, and have been doing so for quite some time. I hope it won't take much longer. However, in the interim, I had to start this post (which I hope to add to over our entire stay her in Shanghai). Almost daily, I have to do a double take or call a friend and say "Did this just happen? I see so many things that are quite possibly normal for here but completely outrageous. And now I present to you, WHAT IN THE CHINA? Things her...

The Higgs Family: August 2014
http://higgscentral.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 23, 2014. Chi –Town: a few days in the life of the Calisoffs). One thing about all the stops on this trip has been the same – it’s hard to say goodbye to the friends we have been visiting yet we are excited to see the friends/family we are off to see next. This continued to a pinnacle when we finally returned home to see Chris. Our next stop in US tour 2014 brought us to see one of my longest standing friends from high school, Nikki (formerly Devensky) and the rest of the Calisoff family.

The Higgs Family: July 2013
http://higgscentral.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 20, 2013. 30 Days of Gratitude. Many things are starting to slip through the cracks with our impending move that's happening in 2 weeks! I did feel it was important to record a small project I took on. About 30 days before my birthday, I fell into the hype and began to feel mopey about what was my upcoming 40th. I had a chat with myself about how blessed I am and decided to come up with one thing for each day left of my 30's that I am grateful for. In no particular order:. 24 Crown Class: ...

The Higgs Family: September 2014
http://higgscentral.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 11, 2014. I have all these lovely thoughts in my head from the last of our 4 stops in US. Now if I can just find the time to finish! Thankfully, when we left the Calisoff’s house (see previous post) we didn’t need to get on another plane for our next stop. We were off to spend time with the Quinn Family who live about an hour outside Chicago in St Charles. Shhh don’t tell Chris ;o). Yes, it was that good! I have a tendency to get quite ‘green’ when I see that much grass. Truth be told...

Sunday, February 8, 2015. For every season change, change, change, change. It is God's light that has lead me down this path the last 9 months and He continues to provide more opportunity for me to use my gifts for His glory.my blog posts have been few and far between and I have a lot of catching up to do.but part of the delay has been because we have been working on a make over. Love the new look! And selfishly happy to hear that I will be reading more about TRACY in the future. Love the quote you posted.

The Higgs Family: Japan and Japanese Friends
http://higgscentral.blogspot.com/2014/06/japan-and-japanese-friends.html
Thursday, June 19, 2014. Japan and Japanese Friends. We have made it our mission to get out and see as much of Asia as our $ $ and time permits while we are here. After the last trip to Cambodia. Sometimes a spot of Sake helped lower our expectations. For the girls at the nicer restaurants. No we didn't drink this much. What would an Asian vacation be without seeing and feeding monkeys? The Japanese love Hello Kitty and so. Do 2 little people I know. Indi is working on her smile. Cuteness under the table.

The Higgs Family: February 2014
http://higgscentral.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 6, 2014. Dragon Dance, Science Tech Museum and Shanghai Circus World. Daddy is resting after putting up the girls tent (with a mattress underneath). Some graphic content that may make you loose your lunch! Although we were going to watch the circus, we were the entertainment on. The way there with 4 white babies. Anyway, they had some incredible acrobatics that were very entertaining and the girls enjoyed watching. I not so humbly told Helaina how mommy had done both trapeze and th...
