Proceed North East on State Hwy 12 to State Hwy 26 and turn left towards Mokelumne Hill (home of Historic Hotel Leger as recently seen on "Hotel Impossible"). Cross over State Hwy 49 and continue on State Hwy 26 E, where you take pleasure in driving through the scenic wooded area for approximately 14.9 miles. Directions From Amador County. From the Amador County/Jackson area, head out on State Hwy. 88 toward Pioneer and continue for approximately 12 miles. Turn right on Red Corral Rd. (Hwy. 26) heading to West Point, about 10 miles. Once in West Point, you will make either the first or second right which will take you down Hwy. 26 for approximately 4 miles. At the top of the hill after crossing the river, turn right immediately onto Stanley Rd. Drive of mile in to choose and cut your live Christmas tree.

The Cal-Sierra Tree Farm was founded in 1960. Charles "Chuck" McKim, who at that time was an employee of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF), purchased the 50-acre property in 1959 and soon after started the tree farm. He first began planting the traditional, slow-growing trees like the Silver Tip. Today, the Cal-Sierra Tree Farm is still a family owned and operated choose and cut Christmas tree farm, with children and grandchildren now joining the family tradition.
