Paula Reynolds Art Blog: November 2010
http://paulareynoldsartblog.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Paula Reynolds Art Blog. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. One for the Road". One for the Road". 18" x 24" x 1 5/8" acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. This is my next completed piece for my art gallery exhibit scheduled for May 2011. I'm really enjoying doing these cloud paintings. I love how you get the details of the close-up object with the huge puffy clouds in the background. It's gross. And sad. But mostly gross. And use of a spray bottle. Isn't this color just luscious? Paintings by Connie Pride. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. The Power of Red. One teacher I had talked about the power of red.well here it is! I've had this painting up in my studio for awhile and while I don't think it has the best composition or contrast in values, it certainly has a lot of energy. It is 36x36 so that's a LOT of energy. I've just taken it to the gallery that shows my work so we'll see if anyone else likes red. Sunday, March 21, 2010. So, thanks, Alice, for starting this blog and challenge!
