Monday, August 15, 2011. This year we decided to stop in Salt Lake City for a couple of days. We pass through SL every year but our kids have never been to Temple Square. Well this was the year! We rented a condo across from the Temple. It was awesome. We walked most everywhere. Toured the Conference Center. Watched the Joseph Smith Movie in the JS Memorial Building. Kirk only watched half of it because Emma got stuck upside down in the folding chairs and had to be taken out. Visited the Church Museum.

Saturday, January 29, 2011. It was Mike's 41st b-day yesterday, and every year he asks for the same thing.a German chocolate cake. Well with age he has simplified his requests. It used to be two cakes, some balloons and maybe a clown if I could manage that. He LOVES his birthday! I made this delicious "homemade German chocolate cake" for Mike.he was so pleased. We just finished the cake for breakfast and it was even better the second time around. My family is so proud of me for my efforts and success...

Monday, February 14, 2011. Apparently the way to a mans heart is though his stomach.or so I've been told. It must be true because I made Mike filet mignon "Oscar Style" on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and he hasn't stopped smiling. Saturday, June 11, 2011. So my baby turned 10 on Friday. I don't know how these things happen, but a part of me is happy about the change. As bitter sweet as it is to see Thomas grow up, it's also exciting. He has had more of a challenge reaching the same milestones as his peers (Autism Spectrum Disorder) but nothing seems to permanently hold him back. He is an amazing boy! Friday, June 29, 2012. Katelyn and her friend have been doing a summer camp for 3-4 year olds. This is something they started doing last year and had such a great time that she decided to do it again. Last week they did “Shop Day” . Katelyn made these wallets. And the kids decorated them with fabric markers. Each wallet had paper money inside, printed on green cardstock. . Their wallets went along with THIS. Next they cleaned pennies. .
