However, we are trying to mentally prepare for whatever bumps of changes in the plan could come our way. At home Camden has been doing amazing! We switched his formula at the beginning of June. This was the best decision we have made in a very long time. Camden does not cough any of this formula up, or aspirate it. Therefore, Camden is off oxygen now almost all of the time! If Camden gets sick again, he could easily end up back on oxygen, but for now we are thankful we are helping his lungs heal. We have...

We arrived safely in Boston on Wednesday without any issues. Camden was seen in a clinic and then we were able to take him outpatient with us. Yay! Camden had a pre-op appointment early Thursday morning, and then we had a great and busy day! We knew there was a chance he could be inpatient after his procedure on Friday, so we wanted to have fun on Thursday. A really nice old man working at his souvenir shop gave Camden an awesome new Red Sox hat. It was really nice of him and made Camden super happy!

New Plan and New Place to Live. Since we last updated, Camden went back to the OR on Friday, March 21. The doctors said his esophagus tissue looked really good when they took out the 8mm stent, so they went ahead and put in a 10mm stent. Camden woke up well from anesthesia and seemed to tolerate the 10mm stent even better than the 8mm! Our new plan is to wait a week with nothing in his esophagus to see if his reflux improves at all and if his esophagus can maintain the 10mm or very close to that! We woul...

Camden did really well today. It was still horrible holding him while they looked at his vocal cords, though. I realized it is horrible for two reasons: 1. Camden cries and says he is all done through the whole procedure. 2. What makes it worse is that his vocal cords are almost touching and do not move at all. :(.
