Everything went well at Hopkins with the spinal tap and they knew right away that all was well with the pressure in her brain being normal. This really leaves the medication as the probable cause so we will keep doing blood test to see where her levels are so we can work Cam's down on her medications. This is great news as the doctors did not want to touch her meds. All for now. Take care. The Motts. Welcome to my blog!

Another post with more detail soon but Christmas and the holidays were very blessed in the Motts in Jamestown house. Cameron and Caroline both "got what they always wanted". Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Unfortunately, it looks like Jessie is having seizures again. She is currently in the EMU at Cook Children's in Fort Worth, and the epileptologists believe that she has some seizure activity coming from her hemispherectomy side, from a missed connection and brain tissue left behind in the first surgery. It is deep tissue, and hard to pick up on the scalp EEG. In addition, they will do a T3 detailed MRI tomorrow. At that point, they will make the decision on what to do. Christm...

Emily's Road to Recovery. Monday, July 13, 2009. OK, I know I haven't been posting, but I think you will agree that this is worth the wait. I am going to take video again when she gets a little better at this walking thing. Only a couple weeks ago, she had to wear this harness that suspended her in the air. I'm gonna need a margarita. Happy (almost) Thanksgiving to all of you! Last week was a busy one and so was the weekend. We are off to a hurried start to this holiday week as well. I was back checking email on the computer when he yelled at me to come to the living room quick. When I got there, she was really giggling at him. So, I ran to get the camera to record it so that we could share it with all of you. We are so excited.and I'm sure that many of you will be too! I can't even express how sweet the sound it to me.us!
