Hermann Gross was an artist-in-residence at Camphill Rudolf Steiner School in Aberdeen from 1963 till the end of his life in 1988. A descendant of the German Expressionist movement, having studied with some of the most eminent artists of his time in Paris and Berlin, Gross found his inspiration in this small therapeutic community in North East Scotland.
