Along the Elbow River in beautiful Kananaskis Country, west of Calgary, Alberta, Chris Gibbs captured this spectacular sunset. The evening was perfect for photographing the natural surroundings and regrowth along the riverbeds that devastated so much of the area during the Alberta floods of 2013. Owen Sound, ON. Captured at Lake Brompton (Orford) in the Estrie region. When the lake reflects to us all the beauty of spectacular sunrises! Quebec City, QC. A hydro electric dam used to stand tall against these vigorous rapids west of Gatineau City. Now these ruins are just a reminder of that era, but some things do not change over the years and Bernard captured that moment when the sun reveals the intensity and the force of this historic site.

Vancouver is surrounded by nature, the closest being beautiful Stanley Park, right on the edge of the city. People love to run, walk, bike, and blade the 7km seawall path that rings Stanley Park, part of a 28km uninterrupted green pathway around Vancouver. Mother Nature blessed our sunrise with a magnificent display of colour, reflected in the still waters of the marina! The jogger running the seawall finished the shot, showing our close relationship with our beautiful natural surroundings. White Rock, BC.
