Tuesday, February 28, 2012. To share my own guilty pleasures, here they are (in no particular order):. Licorice. Since Chris and I are doing a 21 day sugar cleanse right now, that tops my list. I miss licorice.18 more days and counting. Books Not just reading, but I'm a total book hoarder. I love to have them. To own them. To browse the book store for hours. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Well, here we are 6 months into the year, so I thought I'd check in on my goals for 2012 to see how I'm doing. Its not looking great. Run 5K. I got close this past year but in 2012 I am going to do it. Along the same lines, I'm going to make an effort to walk more rather than hop in my truck. Thursday, April 25, 2013. Today my baby boy turned 5. It seems so unreal that he is 5 already- I remember his birth and those tiring weeks afterwards like it was just last week. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Yesterday was the Crossfield Fun Run for the food bank. It was the 5K that I had been training for. My first ever 5K run. I was excited, nervous, eager, proud, anxious. In addition to the adult 5K, there was also a kid's 1.2 km run as well. The kids chased the vintage firetruck along their route and were rewarded with a medal at the finish line. Thursday, May 31, 2012. It finally happened. Luca lost his tooth that he's been eagerly wiggling every day for weeks. This morning at about 6:30 am, he came barrelling into my room, squealing "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy! My tooth finally popped out!
