Prior to this year I had only decorated once in the past 3 Christmases. Oddly enough, the one I did decorate for, we weren't even home for it. I'm a strange bird. Monday, October 13, 2014. I spent this past weekend in New York City with my sister and my parents. I went years ago and I've longed to go back. When I was finally able to, it was with a heavy heart. My dear Aunt Kathy passed away last week with a long and valiant battle with cancer. Kathy was my step dad's sister. She came into our lives when I was 16.
