Two Boys and a Little Lady: September 2013
http://herlittleboys.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. Mila is four weeks old now and I am enjoying more and more each day of not being pregnant anymore. Her unofficial stats for one month are:. Height: 19 1/4 inches. I weighed her on our home scale, so give or take a few ounces. She is still sleeping well at night, averaging two feeds per night. This is a vast improvement from the older three when they were this age. She is almost like clockwork for her nightly feeds: 12 or 1am and 4am. Works for me kiddo! We'll start with the ba...

This is Leif (pronouced [Lay-f]), and he is a Newfoundland! We have been searching for the perfect puppy for a while, and Rob surprised me on my birthday with this little guy, complete with a bow on his collar and everything! Rob drove to Virginia to get him, and he is perfect. But for now, he still fits in my arms :). July 15, 2009 at 7:55 PM.

Life on the Cape: All moved in and ready to go!
http://lifeoncape.blogspot.com/2009/04/all-moved-in-and-ready-to-go.html
Life on the Cape. Building our life where the pilgrims first landed, one day at a time. Sunday, April 19, 2009. All moved in and ready to go! Definitely disappeared there for a while, but I promise I'm back and will be here on a more consistent basis! Last weekend I packed up my clothes and "moved" into my house. Having spent the past year getting the house ready to be moved into, the only things missing were my clothes for the most part! I did make good progress this week though, as I sealed and grouted...

Life on the Cape: April 2009
http://lifeoncape.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Life on the Cape. Building our life where the pilgrims first landed, one day at a time. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Finally, a semi finished bathroom! Marble paneling when I take a shower! To refresh your memory:. I painted the cabinets "Tree Bark" by Olympic from Lowes. Its a true chocolate brown, and I love it! Since we opted for double everything, lights, mirrors. Sinks, we still wanted a storage space without having to do a medicine cabinet. Once we had stripped the walls to the studs, we left a spa...

Two Plus One.: December 2012
http://nicholsbabyblog.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. Tonight, we hold them tight. But, today. Today is different. I need to write, no matter how insignificant. Babies. 20 babies taken from their mama's, their daddy's. In an elementary school shooting. Be still, mind, be still. These babies are just a couple/few years older than my baby. Happy. At school to learn how to read and count. I can't. I just.can't. Oh, dear God. Evil is not enough of a description. There is no description to this act. I want to remember this day for what...

And it all ran together just like that. I'm not even going to engage my brain to do a full post because I have a toddler birthday party hangover, which didn't even include alcohol. Thank you to all the mama friends and family I have that help me through this journey, especially my mama. My life is full of amazing, inspirational women (...

Sable's Saucy Side: #17 -Ryker's Christmas Kabobs
http://saucyside.blogspot.com/2012/12/17-rykers-christmas-kabobs.html
Thursday, December 20, 2012. 17 -Ryker's Christmas Kabobs. In honor of Avon's Christmas Blog, we welcome you to try Ryker's Christmas Kabobs. He made these for Kyana in Bedeviled, book 2 of the Dark Breed Novels. Hope you enjoy and have a very Merry Christmas! These are so simple and quick to make. First, marinate beef, pork, or chicken in your favorite seasonings. Salt, pepper, garlic, a dash or two or Worcestershire, and some Cajun spice works nicely. Skewer up the kabobs. And toss them on a low grill.
