One Moment My Baby is 14! Written on May 13, 2015. Logan turned 14 over the weekend! It does NOT seem like that long ago that he was born, and he’s just about in high school now! We had a nice party with 3 of his friends over. Liam and I set up a bit of scavenger hunt to lead them from one activity to another so they weren’t just playing video games the whole time, and it worked really well. For some reason they got the idea to put hats on, which they ended up wearing for several hours! Next Post ».

Free Motion Quilting Sampler Book. Written on January 7, 2014. In Quilting Arts TV. When I started teaching free motion quilting, I finally sat down and made something to make it easier: a sampler book with a small page of each quilting motif I wanted to illustrate. ACen (Yeah yeah, a little late). ACen was quite the interesting convention, I'll give it that, I felt the schedule was a little lacking, the only few panels I was interested in half I didn't get to go to, and the other half were not as good as I hoped they would be. I do have to give it up for their staff thought.

Art on a Farm | living on a working farm

Art on a Farm. Living on a working farm. February 1, 2017. I’d rather paint in the afternoon than the morning. Don’t use linseed oil as a medium for a painting that needs to be finished in a day. Painting outside is much more trouble and much more rewarding. Facebook feedback doesn’t always match my feelings about a finished piece. I love the sense of accomplishment I feel every day, especially if I like the work. When I have more time, the painting takes longer. Bottom line: I just love to paint! 17 Zio...

Confession: I hate cardio. I find it boring, and although occasionally I enjoy an outdoor run, my enthusiasm is about as consistent as the sunshine in San Francisco. Admitted dislike aside, I do see positive changes when I add cardio to my barre classes. A form of exercise I genuinely look forward to). Here's the workout I'm doing this week:. 00:00-05:00 warm up at an easy jog. 05:00-13:00 run at 6.0 mph for one minute, then 7.5 mph for one minute, repeat four times. 27:00-30:00 cool down at an easy jog.
