Den kompletta paddelbutiken i Kängsön, Råneå. 9 november, 2010. Tisdag eftermiddag. 12 grader kallt, och natten hade varit ännu kallare. Åker ner i hamnen och kollar läget. Förväntningen stiger när jag kör över krönet, och mycket riktigt ligger blankisen som ett golv över inre Rånefjärden. Snabbt hem och rafsar ihop skridskoprylarna: Lundhags Nordic skates med ”lös” häl, isdubbar, pik och ett ombyte i Lundhags täta rygga. Kokar lite te och tar med. Isen var perfekt! Mer än paddling -Quintrex alubåtar.
