Driftwood Branch Stream Cleanup. Please join us on Sunday, March 27th at 12 noon for an afternoon on the Driftwood Branch. Four local organizations are getting together to cleanup the Driftwood Branch of the Sinnemahoning before the annual canoe and kayak race (Saturday, April 2nd). The Bucktail Watershed Association (BWA) is a concerned group of citizens united to promote wise watershed stewardship for property and stream protection in the Driftwood Branch and the First Fork. The Bucktail Watershed Association covers two watersheds. The Driftwood Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek and the First Fork of the Sinnemahoning Creek. All tributaries that feed into these streams are also covered by our watershed association. What is a Watershed? Why should we be concerned about watersheds?
