Terminal Vocabulary: February 2011
http://terminalvocabulary.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Just plain ol' poems. Monday, February 28, 2011. New Book by Schomburg. when! According to a recent post on Zachary Schomburg's blog The Lovely Arc. He's got a new book lined-up. If you don't check his blog daily, there's a darn good chance we have no business talking. Monday, February 21, 2011. Courtesy of Aaron Rote, I'm now reading a new poet (to me): Jack Gilbert. He's a good mix of what I think others value in poetry, what I value in poetry, and what I'm trying to value in poetry. I've received my f...

Wednesday, May 31, 2006. One byproduct of being off-the-road and working on campus is an aching back I’ve been sitting at my desk the past three days and now I can barely sit without immense pain. But the positives of production do outweigh the physical aggravation, and the environment is prime and conducive to creativity, so, lah, can’t really complain too much 'specially since I'm going to avoid the desk for the next couple of days. We're back from a great trip to Thailand, where not a whole lot happened besides seeing some great sites, visiting with friends and family, and eating excellent food. I did post some pictures of last week's performance up at http:/ www.flickr.com/photos/the funks/sets/72157594180173995/. Tomorrow back to work, hopefully finishing up the database project. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. An Acre of Day’s Glass. By Malaysian Wong Phui Nam, and a cd of movie soundtracks that I recently read about (eating pomeloes from Tokyo to tamil nadu by Hardesh Singh). From there we went to KL’s IMAX theatre and saw a 3D film. Walking on the Moon. Posted by chris funkhouser @ 8:08 AM. Comments: Post a Comment. View my complete profile. Whoa! Totally...: Whoa!Totally #8: Chuck Bass
http://whoatotally.blogspot.com/2008/12/whoatotally-8-chuck-bass.html
Daily Acts of Contrition from a Chronic Contrarian. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Totally #8: Chuck Bass. In order to bring you this W! T I took my maiden voyage into the world of iMovie. I simply wanted to showcase the awesomely outrageous fashion choices of Chuck Bass, the teenage Upper East Side version of Vicomte Sebastien de Valmont, in my guilty-pleasure show, Gossip Girl. And, oh yes, there were plenty. That's why Chuck Bass is my New Year's Eve whoa! How can you not like that? I made Emily start ...

Whoa! Totally...: Whoa!Totally #9: Chopped Steak
http://whoatotally.blogspot.com/2009/01/whoatotally-8-chopped-steak.html
Daily Acts of Contrition from a Chronic Contrarian. Thursday, January 1, 2009. Totally #9: Chopped Steak. I rediscovered the wonders of the disappearing phenomenon that is chopped steak (or, "chop't" steak) this afternoon when Adam and I decided to go to Threadgill's for New Year's day lunch. Despite my initial qualms when ordering, the chop't steak turned out to be a panacea for all my hangover-related ills. Hallelujah! Or maybe that was the Tito's bloody mary working its magic. On Threadgill's menu the...
