Life as a cap corps volunteer in managua, nicaragua. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. A while back, I asked Mom and Dad if they'd like to pull together a few of their thoughts about their trip to Nicaragua in June. This was their response :). How excited we were to see our. And wrap our arms around her! A year is a long time. We knew about her Nica experience from our Skype conversations, her blog spot, and several phone visits, but it took actually being there to understand the depth of it. And I, we quickly p...

Tuesday, April 3, 2012. On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare. A feast of rich food for all peoples,. A banquet of aged wine-. The best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy. The shroud that enfolds all peoples,. The sheet that covers all nations;. He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears. From all faces;. He will remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. In that day they will say,. I LIKE THE POEM.

Wednesday, February 23, 2011. So that every time I go to the supermarket I'm freaked out. All I can think about is how little the 'food' that is available to us actually resembles real food. And how absolutely ridiculous it is that we have literally dozens of options of bottles fruit juice, chips, butter-like substances. Who knows where these 'foods' come from, or what's actually in them? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Capuchin franciscan volunteer corps.
