Main and genoa up in full wind. Feet up, sails up ,winds up. Sunlight peaking over main sail. Sunset on port side. Jen on sat phone with sunset in background. Greg sitting down to sunset wonder. Another day, another sunset. Buckets out to collect fresh rain water- yum! Mooring line hung over stern, with storm approaching. Morning light breaks night with moon still up. From Cape Town to St.Helena, no wind turned 8 days of travel into 14… but our daily whale visits and sunsets made it all the worth while! 🙂 having my 22nd bday at sea was definitely a memorable one! Sitting on the bow, life is good! Sai Whale next to yacht! Sai Whales just off bow. Sun, water, wind. pure joy. Captain love on bday at 00h15! Bday morning with crew, 00h15! Genoa in full form, mainsail down! All dressed up in my wet gear- ready for night shift! Ricky and jan hanging out!

The trip to Trinidad was amazing- still full of Brazilian party vibe. and the festive Neptunes’ Ball… inviting lots of fish, chess, ships, sunsets, hot mornings and hotter days, moonlight nights and stormy rains to cool off the Caribbean sun! Crew strong and food good- missing family but loving the open ocean… cant wait for the joyful land of Trinidad…. maan! Jan watching over tuna. Hello yummy Yellow Fin Tuna! Ricky and the hung Tuna. Arriving on a beautiful day, our stay at St Helena got off to a great start! Beers all round- then i was off to tour the island- the boys stayed at the bar🙂 A friendly little island, rich in history with Napoleon’s tomb, and the oldest tortoise- there is so much more to St. Helena than what meets the eye!
